When she received the letter, she didn't know what to do. It had been too long. But her siblings had urged her to attend. They were her parents too, after all.
On the day of the funerals, she wondered why she came.
She looked at her siblings, crying loudly for all to see. The hypocrites. They couldn't stand the old degenerates.
When it was her turn to throw the flowers on the coffins, she remembered a book she read, 'I'll spit on your graves'. And it is what she did.
She walked away slowly, amid shocked gasps, liberated at last.
