Beauty and the Beast revisited - A modern tale.

Beauty sobbed heavily, her head on Beast's breast.
'Don't die, Beast,' she whispered, 'I love you'.
And the miracle happened. Under her eyes, Beast became a most handsome prince but Beauty gasped in horror.
The Prince looked at her appreciatively.
'Thank you pretty thing, for breaking the spell. Well, how do you like the new 'me'? Look at my beautiful golden hair and ... hey, why don't you say anything?'.
But Beauty had already ran out of the door. She ran all the way home and flung herself on her bed, crying for her beautiful Beast she loved and lost.
