So you want to be a writer, right?
Well, write more, and get out less. Let the light scorch your eyes, after you obsess yourself into the kind of gnarled introspection that causes erstwhile friends to reply 'Ahhh...yes', when they ask you why you've been huddled over a laptop in a staring reverie all evening. Let them take a step back, as they say it. So be it.
For you alone know, it is a fine line between genius and madness, worthwhile and worthless. Lauded and laudanum.
And the line consists of just this one thing: publish and/or be damned.
