I’m off, I’m off, I’m off like a dead kipper
I’ve got one fin up, flapping like a flipper
This is all to hide I’m not the best
I walked to the quad, barely staggered there without much zest
Had grand ideas but they went west
Wait a while and just repack the dishwasher after a rest
Wish life was a battery, get a charge and off you go
But sadly it’s not, even with a rest you still move slow
Just hope there’s no emergency, that I have to move fast
I’ll be stuffed doing it, I’d never last

Catchy title. I was impressed with the rhyme scheme throughout.

    Many thanks for support.
Sorry every so often I'm bound to write one of these old duffer poems.
