Vacuuming

Something I really loathe more than anything
Vacuuming floors and carpets of everything
You vacuum a floor, I’m fastidious, there's more
The carpet in the kitchen is the hardest
The new carpet in the lounge room, the fastest
My study has little slots and long spaces
I have to work hard to clean all of the places
Our bedroom has a bed, large floor and side table
I only vacuum it when my back's good an I feel able
Really to vacuum without some real effort is a fable
My back aches generally, it’s not fun, until everything's finally done
