Two men had a shootout on the mainstreet of town.
It was a do or die action, no fortune, no crown.
This was nothing fancy or TV show
Their guns were out cocked and ready to go
In the quite of the town the saloon clock chimed two
They lifted their guns and fought the duel through
One man fell dead, the other shot from this deadly gunfight
For everyone else it was a horrible sight.
The carpenter with a coffin for the man on the ground
The other man stemmed the bleeding where he’d been struck with a round
