I like mornings on platform 2, watching commuters drink coffee, engrossed in their book, their phone, their headphones. They're the same people every day; I feel like I know them.
A bit later and the passengers become pairs of friends, mums with young children, people with large rucksacks. The man in the grey suit is nervous. Late for a meeting, maybe? He's looking up the track as the 09:45 approaches, he's... oh my. He jumped.
Ignoring the panic, I walk over to the track and hold out my hand. "It's OK, follow me. No, don't look back at your body..."

Best drabble I've read in ages! I was totally taken in by the narrator as commuter, and the end hit me like a slap across the face. Brilliant, I loved it. :)
