Claws of Death

A stealthy approach is best in these situations. Even though it appears engrossed it always has one black, soulless eye on its surroundings. As an ear pricks you pause, holding your breath, but the danger soon passes. Creeping closer, closer still and yet no sign of discovery…this may be your chance. Within just a few feet you decide to pounce, but quicker than a flash it’s on to you with lethal claws of death ripping through your flesh leaving a burning path of fire as the blood begins to drip.
