Seven Deadly Sins: Anger

I told myself that I wouldn't get angry when she confessed her affair with Joseph, my best friend. I told myself I would say "of course" when she asked if we "could have a talk." I would gently nod my head as she gave me the details. Only saying "I see." Repeatedly.
I would be the model of stoicism.

And when it came out, the whole situation, I wouldn't scream, curse or cry or even say much of anything. I'd be a gentleman.
Of course, I didn't have to. She did all of those things. But I was a stone.
