Dick and the Duke

Not often can you can tell Royalty what to do!

1961 ... the Duke of Edinburgh has come to open the new Chemistry extension. I am directing the filming for the University.

The Chemistry block has been opened. Everybody has moved to a field for an extra, a demonstration of a fire extinguishing robot.

I have three cameras. I need to get this right first time.

I go up to the Duke.

“I am Richard, I am directing the filming and I have one chance.”

“Richard,” says the Duke, “you tell me what to do and I will do it!”
