The meadow tumbled downhill, knotted grass and wild flowers tied by brambles that glistened with buxom fruit. A young man recumbent in the greens and yellows, hands clasped behind his head and eyes squinting lazily skyward, let his mind wander to the events of yesterday.
It took four of them to pin me down; to take my weapon away and to steal my dignity.
The yellow of the sun flickered in his eyes as he stood and, determined that he would finish the job undisturbed, put the muzzle in his mouth and pulled the trigger. The green meadow turned red.

This drabble was one of the most intense and powerful I've read. Amazing how much impact the story has at only 100 words. Fantastic job!
