Missing Horses

Melvin Suspected Miss Baker of putting the key to the cabinet in which he kept his public transport themed collection of models, in the biscuit tin marked 'Keys' instead of just leaving it on the coffee ringed coaster

This meant no showing his nephew the horse missing omnibus without going through a conversation demanding crowd to get to the tin cupboard.

But here he was now and everyone had gone home.

Seemingly waiting for him, Miss Baker said 'Why don't you just let him look at it in the case. You know what you'll be like if he drops it.'
