Tama had stood at the wheel trying to trick himself out of the terror that took him as if with real hands from the deepest part of the ocean, hands which having ghosted their way up through the wood of the ship seemed suddenly solid at his throat.
What did he say just before the crucial moment? Not now Neptune? Piss off Poseidon? Oh it doesn't matter but some of us like to know these things.
Anyway he steered clear of his fear and the iceberg getting most of his crew and himself marooned and maddened among the myth hungry.

Sounds like the start of a good series, but I don't think you're that keen on the series format, if I remember right.

I think it was “piss off Poseidon”. It is never good to anger the old guy. 🤣 especially near an iceberg.
Great drabble Jamie!

You know what they say Jamie, a myth is as good as a nautical mile.
(Absolutely love “Not now Neptune” and “Piss off Poseidon” I alliterally laughed me socks off!) Just as well he didn’t say “Sod off Sirens” or else he’d have been in real trouble.

Thanks Christopher . I enjoy the occasional ;binge catch up with a series, but do tend to go for the shorter stories, and the the shorter longer stories, ;-) )
