Canopy Creatures
Here we see
A spider
And a fly
And an ant
On a flower
With the fortunate fly
Unfound
The hider
If he could would he pant?
Would he cower?
But then let out a sigh
Safe, sound?
The petal
Pacing scout was found out
Had she vanished
To all eight watching eyes?
Don't settle
If you do, have no doubt
Spider, famished
Must claim her juicy prize
She hunted
Lives for play?
No to slay
Biting hunger
Feed her young and her
Silent song
Both hunted
Slipped away
For today
Transient troubles
Of the tried tree queen
Went on

Thanks Verity ;-) Its all stuff anyone with an internet connection can join in with on on a site called the zooniverse..You help researchers sort data by answering simple questions about randomly selected images from their database There are space projects , wildlife projects, all sorts . Worth a look! ;-)
