Here we see
A spider
And a fly
And an ant
On a flower
With the fortunate fly
Unfound
The hider
If he could would he pant?
Would he cower?
But then let out a sigh
Safe, sound?
The petal
Pacing scout was found out
Had she vanished
To all eight watching eyes?
Don't settle
If you do, have no doubt
Spider, famished
Must claim her juicy prize
She hunted
Lives for play?
No to slay
Biting hunger
Feed her young and her
Silent song
Both hunted
Slipped away
For today
Transient troubles
Of the tried tree queen
Went on

A fabulous tale of predator and predated, Jamie. From right up your street!😊

Thanks Neville . In literal terms it's from right up somebody elses' tree. Was classifying images on the zooniverses' African Canopy busy bee project when it started cooking,
