A Short Trip
Brandon Maynard felt rudely pulled from the soothing colours of a broken chalky hill by a sudden roughness in the rattle of the conveyance.
Half expecting catastrophe, but wholly determined to continue enjoying the view, he tried to keep himself as calm as the eyes of a cow his own seemed briefly to meet.
Further rattling left him ruffled but the ride still pleased, despite his destination, and a familiar voice saying 'I'll just tell the radiographer you're here. Mr Maynard.'
Here, by the notice that read 'This collection, ''Country Scenes'' was kindly donated by The League Of Hospital Friends.'
