Cradling myself in a poor pretense at not feeling the threat of frost threading the air, I turned right into Wandle Park, seeing two pylons apparently readying metal ropes for a skipping game, in which Parakeets and a Pigeon (Whose nervous branch balancing brought to mind a hesitant human on a diving board) seemed to procrastinate about participating. Apparently rope game ready, the grey dove dived but a change of mind got him green birdwards before a trick of the light rendered him raven like long enough for scaring a rodent and the red beaked brothers away. But they stayed.

...and and you’re slowly winning me over to a love of wildlife, even the horrid ones! 🥴

Thanks Neville. But I'm guessing you've not made up with the Ravens yet.😆

Thanks Drew. It's a park not too far from where I live. :)

Croydon. I should know it as both sets of Gramps lived there or thereabouts and my son briefly, but it’s a new one to me.
And you’re right, Jamie, I do draw the line at the corvids! (And cats too!)
