Though hanging in space, Haumea may remind some of a rugby ball, though to others this twin mooned world could conjor a certain cricket ground or hint at a Hister Beetle. Hololeptor Hister Beetles, hunt when hungry beneath the barks of different trees. Unlike some ladybird cousins , they are neither red nor as nearly round. May their mandibles make mercifully short work of their preferred prey. Their elytra ,not quite covering the abdomen, remind of a shirt too short. Haumea probably doesn't hunt, being a vacuum surrounded rock, nor has it been marked out as a potential doomsday object.

A stellar drabble, Jamie. Two lessons in a single drabble. Now I’m going to check out both other worldly and inner worldly lessons. Love the alliterative mandibular masterpiece in the middle. Thanks.
