Madame Emmet searched in long grass.
Her nephew hadn't even stubbed
his cigarette. Or his dream of farm escaping.
'We don't know where Robert threw The Garage key. Mathew you could be checking the path. ' ' No he wouldn't have thrown it there. ' ' What a ridiculous thing to say. Why would he care where he threw it?'
' Uncle Robert thinks more deeply about things than you give him credit for. ' ' You take that back. ' ' I won't. ' Then *walk* off the farm. See if your City friends will have you back now.'

Wow. There's so much of these people's backstory crammed into a hundred words. You really get a sense of all three characters and one of them isn't even actually in it.

Much appreciated Christopher. Had to Jettison some detail to keep to the word count and worried I'd reduced the Story to almost nothing. ☺ 🐝

Fascinating Jamie. Think I’ll need to read it over again (a few times). 🥴
