Eating a late breakfast in his ground floor apartment, Frank heard a door slam twice, two floors up. Door slamming happens, of course, A door can be shoved instead of being shut properly, an air current can make it close too quickly sometimes . Doors can even..No, let's not get silly. So Frank enjoyed his irritation, then paid the noise no further mind, until subsequent ungentle closings, ('Not possible.') having become increasingly hard to dismiss as random, finally stopped, leaving him unable to banish from his head the morse code message he'd been trying so very hard not to decipher.

Surprising, and intriguing Jamie. It's got me thinking so much about how that might sound, it's sending me quite dotty.
