Vi: There isn’t a price for sausages. It varies but you don’t know what you’re getting.
Betty: It’s the same with meat pies. Meat pies are cheaper in Bradford.
Vi: I forgot me flannel. I usually bring a flannel to wipe me hands on the bus.
Betty: I always said I’d never buy another white bag. I wash mine every day I’m on holiday. It gets so mucky in this weather.
Vi: It’s the climate.
Betty: I don’t know whether you’ve noticed, but there aren’t so many seagulls here, like in Yarmouth. I miss them in bed, hearing them like.
