Free Meal

“You’re sure this will work?”
“Stop asking,” Pamela said, walking into the restaurant. David followed and saw Pam flash her fake badge, heard her say, “health inspection.”
The staff showed them the kitchens, the sitting area, the storage. “This looks good,” Pam said, “but I’m going to need a sample of the food to finish up.”
This got the pair two full meals for free.
Later: “See? I said it would work.”
“I get it.” They’d managed to lace the food with arsenic, and get free food out of it, all without breaking in.
Still, there’s no need to brag.
