My wife let out a chuckle.

Sitting down on the sofa opposite i couldn't help noticing all her little habits, like the itching of her inner ear, and the sly stroke to the nose that masks her picking. The way she swirls a bit of tea before swallowing. As i watched her, i couldn't help but wonder if i added enough poison.
