As the seasons changed, her life remained the same. When she could no longer bear the reflection in the mirror, she fried her hair; but no one seemed to care. She inked her skin, carving all the words that had been left unspoken; but no one listened. She said a prayer, but there were no answers. The world was upside down, but she was standing still while holding her breath. Fast forward and rewind, it is just a matter of time until she realizes that, it doesn't matter how many skins she tries, she will never come back to life.

As we talked about this story in class, it made me curious as to how it would turn out. This story is brief but I like the imagery you use throughout it.

I can actually imagine the different ways your character is trying to fit in. I love the way you worded everything, especially when she is "carving all the words that had been left unspoken" in tattoos on her skin. The last line was super jarring and unpredictable which I think is hard in a 100 word story but you did it!
