Gingers and Brummies. He understood that people were prejudiced against them. So, he tried to make allowances for them, now that he was older. But this left him open. To being a pushover. Two in particular, they’d really taken the piss. It was lucky that he was not so bothered any more. But his apathy cut both ways. It left him subject to further abuse. And between the red hair and the Midlands he was wide open. The stereotypes of politics and economics haunted him. Passion and prudence attacked his lackadaisical attitude to life. Empathy always got him into trouble.
