The men in blue ran swiftly, trying to catch the jewelry store thief. They high-tailed it down an alley and across a not-so-busy intersection. They nabbed him, cuffed him, then brought him back to the store owner for a positive ID. He was the one.
The cops shoved him in their car, speeding off to the police station.
Or did they?
“Yee-hah! Brothers, we made it.”
“Get these cuffs off me, will ya?”
“How much you get?”
“I figure about five million.”
“You’ll be one wanted man, bro.”
“Wanted? I’m already caught.”
They all laughed.
