Noun
drabble (plural drabbles)
A fictional story that is exactly 100 words long.
The purpose of a drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space.

Last night we popped across the road to the Guy Fawkes firework display at The Bull. A fire and dazzling display to delight our eyes. This year they’d be quietworks so as not to disturb horses and local pets too, (but sadly not the kingfishers, and other small creatures calling the chalk river beyond home.)
We all looked skywards as the ignition crew thrilled us with colours dancing in the night sky. Then one firework went rogue, shooting horizontally at ground level as the whole ignition crew danced to save themselves.
A fire, fireworks AND... a fire dance too. Woohoo!
